Challenge Games provide opportunity to compete
The 2008 Challenge Games of Clark County will be held on Thursday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Liberty Middle School, in Camas School District, 1612 NE Garfield Street.  More than 175 students from several Clark County school districts including Vancouver School District will participate in the 29th year of the games.

The Challenge Games provide students with physical challenges a chance to experience the excitement of healthy sports competition.  The events are designed to build students’ self-esteem.  Some of the events are geared toward goals or skills that the children have been working on in therapy and/or physical education.  The games include bowling, basketball, switch races, slaloms and dashes depending on each student’s ability.  The goal is to provide these students a positive atmosphere in which all participants are winners.
