Free Stuff for Teachers for grades K-12 offers a variety of books, calendars, catalogues, software and magazines for grades K-12 that can be ordered free via the web. Included are materials from Microsoft, Apple computers, DoleFruit corp. etc.

The Realist Wonder Society provides information on children's literature. There are illustrated readings from children's novels, original screen - plays, fairytales, fables, journals, essays, poems and artwork. i.e. Moe and Owl's romance, Lynd Ward's woodcuts and excerpts from C.S.Lewis.

Mister Rodger's Neighborhood has a collection of fun activities teaching children how to put on an opera or deal with their angry feelings.

Storytime is an excellent children's reading program on PBS hosted by Kino, the puppet. There are helpful materials on reading children's book.Worthwhile are reviews of quality children's books in English and Spanish and suggestions on how to help kids become better readers.

Children's Literature Web Guide recommends readings by age level and links children's stories available on the internet and resources for parents, teachers etc.

Primary grade students can visit the Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. They can go to the "Caterpillar Express" to get answers for questions like "What comes first, the story or the pictures?" and "How did you get interested in art?" This site is a good resource for students who want to visit one of their favorite authors or are wondering how authors get started writing stories.
